Hannah Combs was sitting in her school chatting with a friend. That’s when a bully came from behind and poured hot glue over her head. After this attack, the bully was allowed to return to school but Hannah didn’t just experience humiliation…she had first degree burns and was in serious pain! The physical, emotional trauma was too much for any 15-year-old.
Hannah didn’t just stop there, she made changes to her appearance which didn’t leave her friends in awe but must have made every bully’s jaw drop in admiration! Through her transformation, Hannah sent across a strong message to everyone...there is nothing you can’t overcome. “It instantly started burning,” Hannah said. “It felt like my head was on fire. Hannah went for a treatment for her burns and most of the hair on the right side of her head had to be shortened. “I realized I lost my favorite thing about me. I loved my hair,” Hannah said. “My hair was the only thing I liked about myself, honestly. I lost it for no reason.” Her parents started a Facebook page for “Justice for Hannah” and posted pictures of the young girl’s treatment. Naturally, Hannah’s parents were extremely bothered and furious.
However, despite her parent’s anger, Hannah did not go asking for justice…she proved the world that she could do it all on her own. These are the pictures of her new hair cut. Just scroll and see how she ends up with the most beautiful hairdo.
Hannah received praise and lots of support, which made it possible for her to recover sooner than expected.
“It makes me want to help other people,” Hannah said. “There are people who couldn’t stand up for themselves but they talk to me about it. It makes me want to help. It’s amazing how many people are supporting me.” This is the best example of how the best can be made from the worst
